Discovery and strategy

We get to know your company, your market and your customers. The plan for the site grows out of this.

UX plan and design

Structure first: pages, user journeys, conversion points. Then the visuals, which grow out of your brand identity. We go through and agree everything with you before development starts.

Development

The approved designs become a working website that you can test in a development environment before it goes live.

Testing and launch

We test your site on several devices and browsers, then put it live. We show you how to use the admin so you can manage on your own.

After launch

Ideally, this isn't where the work ends. If you would like, we maintain, update and keep developing your website.

Frequently asked questions

How long does it take to build a website?

A landing page can be ready in as little as a week, a company website typically takes 4–⁠6 weeks from strategy to launch, and a more complex site depends on the number of pages and features. We set out the exact schedule in the quote once we understand your situation.

How much does a website cost?

It depends on what it needs to do: a five-page company site is different from an online shop with hundreds of products. A website we design and develop is typically an investment of €2,500 to €5,000, depending on the complexity of the project.

What do you need from me for the project?

We try to take as much off your plate as possible, but we will need you at certain milestones. In the strategy phase we ask about your company, your customers and your goals, so we can tailor the site's structure and copy to your business as closely as possible. In the design phase we will need your feedback, so the result is something you are proud to show others. You don't need to understand the technical side, that's our job.

Do you only work with WordPress?

In most cases, yes, because it is open, flexible and doesn't tie you down. Your website is yours and you can take it to anyone at any time, you are not locked into a closed system. More than 40 percent of the world's websites run on it, so there are developers, plugins and solutions for everything. We have worked with it every day for 16 years and know both its strengths and its pitfalls. If we think a different platform would serve your goals better, we will tell you and talk through the options.

Can you rework my existing website, or do you only build new ones?

Both. If the foundations of your existing site are good, we audit it and build on it. If the foundations are poor, we will tell you honestly that rebuilding will cost less than patching it up, and explain why.

What happens to the website after handover?

Whatever you like. We train you to use the admin, so you can manage the content yourself. And if you don't want the technical side (updates, backups, security) to be your concern either, you can choose one of our maintenance plans. We currently look after 70+ websites on an ongoing basis.

Do you work with small businesses too, or only large companies?

We have worked with a Big Four firm, one of the world's four largest audit and business advisory networks, and just as happily with sole traders. Size doesn't matter. What matters is that your expectations are realistic for your budget, and we are happy to help you work that out.
